Area Valve Service Unit (AVSU) provides local isolation of individual parts of medical gas and vacuum piping system required for installation, maintenance, or in the event of an emergency.

AVSUs are installed in each operating room, ICUs, resuscitation rooms and in other hospital areas. AVSU are equipped with a lock that can be opened with the same key in the particular hospital. In case of emergency, the glass in the front of the area valve service unit can be broken to allow access to the valve.

Our Area Valve Service Unit fits the EN ISO 7396-1 and HTM BS standards.
