Our Medical copper tubes complies with the requirements of Directive 93/42/EEC and are classified as a class IIA medical device for medical gas installations, gas mixtures, air, vacuum and evacuation of anaesthetic gas in accordance with the harmonized reference standards.
Each batch released is accompanied by a certificate in accordance with ref. 3.1 of standard EN 10204, certifying its compliance with standard EN 13348. Since standard EN 13348 is a harmonized standard under the PED Directive, this copper tubing also meets the requirements of this Directive.
The internal surface of the Medical copper pipe is virtually free of any residual carbon, guaranteeing protection against corrosion.
