SOAL has participated in the SwitchMed Test III project in collaboration with UNIDO and the EU, aiming to reduce operational costs, including energy and water consumption in order to enhance productivity and improve our environmental performance. 

The total savings, when implementing the suggested projects by UNIDO, are estimated to be around 62,539 euros, achieved through a 30% reduction in energy usage, 0.4 % material savings, and a 69% reduction in water consumption.
